Here’s How It Works

This is premiere class for two year olds that are registered with a color breed association and have not been shown under saddle prior to this event. It is a two year old Western Pleasure Snaffle Bit class.

This event is held at the REICHERT CELEBRATION each year.

Only slot owners are permitted to nominate horses for this event. Horses to be nominated by March 15th.

Each slot owner will nominate 2 judges prior to Jan. 15. Each nominated judge will be assigned a bingo ball number and color. The bingo air blower machine will be used to assign the judges call order. The bingo drawing will be held at the Tulsa Paint Show in March. The judges will be called by an independent person in order until 4 judges are secured for the 2006 Equine Chronicle Color Classic.

New Committee

A committee has been formed. Committee members are: Jay Jordan; Barron Knaus; Gretchen Hachtel; Garth Gooding; Mark Shaffer and Jennifer Hagen. Chairing the committee is Barron Knaus. The committee will work directly with J.R. Reichert.
The committee will be looking at the following criteria to meet approval. The criteria is based on four parts. Three of the four parts must be meet with parts 1 and 2 a definite must.
1. Slot owner must be a party who is primarily involved in the Color Breed Industry.
2. Rider must be on the Colored Breed rider eligibility list.
3. Horse owner must be a party who is primarily involved in the Color Breed Industry.
4. Trainer must be a party who is primarily involved in the Color Breed Industry.
