Riders Eligibility List

A rider eligibility list is being formed by the committee. A rider must be a party who is primarily involved in the Color Breed Industry. A rider may request an application form from the slot secretary. Once the form is completed and returned, it will be submitted to the slot owners for approval. The committee will be looking at the following criteria to meet approval. The criteria are based on four parts. Three of the four parts must be meet with parts 1 & 2 mandatory.

1. Slot Owner must be a party who is primarily involved in the Color Breed Industry.
2. Rider must be on the Colored Breed rider eligibility list.
3. Horse owner must be a party who is primarily involved in the Color Breed Industry.
4. Trainer must be a party who is primarily involved in the Color Breed Industry.

Once approved, your name will be added to the list. A rider may be added to this list at ANYTIME but the applications are due July 20th, 2010. The rider list will be published on our website   Click here for form.

NEW FOR 2010 - The Limited Open will show concurrent with this class

• $500 of every slot fee will go toward the Limited.

• The rider can not have won more than $12,500 in previous Equine Chronicle Color Classic classes at Reichert Celebration.

Payment is due in full for slots by April 15th, 2010. Postmarks of April 15th accepted. If no payment is received, you forfeit your slot ownership.

FINAL NOMINATION OF HORSE
If you are nominating only one horse you must name your horse by May 1, 2010.
If you are nominating two horses you must name them by May 1, 2010 and name the final horse by June 1, 2010. Forms will be mailed to slot owners.

Judges
The first two judges will be picked prior to Reichert Celebration. These are determined by your nomination. You will need to nominate your two judges by April 15th. Forms are included to slot owners. The first set of 2 Judges will be drawn using the Bingo Ball Machine.

The second set of 2 judges will be drawn at Reichert Celebration.
When you arrive at Reichert Celebration we need for you to do the following by Wednesday, August 11, 2010:

• Come to the entry office and give them the name of a person to judge that is
  a. Attending the event.
  b. That has no conflicts to judge the class.

• Reichert Celebration will then make sure that there are no conflicts or issues in all names given. Once this is established we will put all the names in the Bingo Ball Machine.

• The draw for the second set of judges will be held before the class in the arena. We will draw the two judges and if they are present, they will come down to judge the class with our first set of nominated judges.

NEW FOR 2010
The Reichert Celebration was founded on the principles of family. Our objective is to provide an opportunity for interaction between horse enthusiasts and the most influential leaders and representatives of the equine industry and provide a competitive equine event where youth, non-professionals and professionals alike can be recognized for their betterment of the equine industry in the discipline area of their choice.

With the above goals in mind it is the intention of the show management that once a rider enters the warm-up arena for the evening class the riders may be asked to submit to an official breathalyzer test and possible drug screening. Should any problems arise this may result in a $10,000.00 fine and a 1 year suspension from Reichert Celebration.
