Attention Halter Enthusiasts!!

    The Reichert Celebration would like to bring Something New and Innovative to the halter horse industry. Not just the normal Slot class, but with the Reichert Twist!! The Celebration is willing to provide these classes, but we are in need of support from the halter industry. After listening to many of you, who do not want to see the money classes go away for the halter horses we would like to develop four new classes under the Reichert Celebration umbrella.

1. The first class is the Claiming Maiden Yearling Halter Class. The ‘claiming’ part of this is new and was designed to help create a market for your horse.

2. The Second class is designed for the Amateur/Breeder/Owner Class for the Amateur and Non Pro members of our industry. There will be one class together for both male and fillies. Another twist to this is each slot owner will BRING one judge to the show.

3. The third class will be the Oldies But Goodies Class where we have opened up the exhibitor end to the world. There will be 2 classes; one for mares 4 year and older and one for geldings 4 years and over.

4. The final class will be the The Young Ladies Class which will be for 2 Year Old Mares. Open to all exhibitors!

    The Reichert Celebration has been hearing from some of the halter enthusiasts and professionals that you would like a halter slot class from the people at the Reichert Celebration and we are willing to provide these classes. BUT, we need your support!!
    We have reduced the number of total slots offered. We feel by doing this each slot will be worth a premium if the slot owner would like to lease their slot to another exhibitor. The slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis, so get your requests in early.
    In 2007 we had 8,462 entries and 2200 stalls rented. Over $911,000 in cash was awarded in the Signature classes alone with a total payout of over $1.5 million during the show. Plus all the fabulous awards that were given. Have we sparked your interest? If so, we need for you to get behind these new classes in order for them to work. As you can tell, we have given this much consideration and feel these classes will help bring more positive awareness and interest the halter industry. Please take a few moments and review the four new halter classes in more detail and feel free to contact our office with any questions or interest.
